This term we will be looking at people who help us. This week we have been talking about the vets who help our pets. We have been so lucky to have a visit from a veterinary nurse, Ginny. Ginny helps to take care of the animals when they have to visit the vet. Ginny also brought another special visitor with her, her therapy dog, Archie.

Ginny talked to us about the different things that vets and veterinary nurses wear and use in the clinic. She talked about how to take care of our pets at home and even talked to us about brushing their teeth. Our favourite part of the morning was meeting Archie and learning how to bandage his leg.

At the end of the session we had lots of questions for Ginny and she tried her best to answer them all.
