Today in our outdoor area, we made our own campfire and toasted some marshmallows to make delicious smores.

Before we lit the fire, the boys and girls were all told about the dangers of fire and how we had to keep our selves safe. When we were toasting the marshmallows, we used a long toasting fork so that we were not too near to the fire. We talked about how the marshmallows changed from squishy to gooey when they were melted. We had to let the Marshmallows cool before eating them. They were yummy!
